Another light Pacific Northwest pear crop predicted 

This year’s Pacific Northwest pear crop will be 17 to 20 days later than last year but also continues a trend of lighter harvests, causing some head scratching.

The Pacific Northwest pear crop will be later than last year — which is expected, given the cooler spring. But the puzzling aspect is that it’s lighter for the fourth year in a row.
