Road bill gets late session retread

Governor says a deal has been made with both parties.

The 10-year state road building and repair project, with an $8.2 billion price tag, is still alive after suffering what seemed like a fatal collision between business and environmental interests.

Gov. Kate Brown told reporters Wednesday that a deal had been struck between Democrats and Republicans over the dollar amounts to be spent and which projects would be at the head of the funding line.
