Suicide prevention bill heads to the House

The Senate voted 17-to-11 to approve bill to allow extreme risk protection orders for suicidal loved ones.

The House will consider a bill modeled after a law enacted by Washington voters in 2016 to allow loved ones and law enforcement to obtain an emergency order to block a suicidal person from access to deadly weapons.
