Replacing Saxton only first step in needed health authority overhaul: Editorial

Gov. Kate Brown made the right call in ousting Lynne Saxton as director of the Oregon Health Authority. News reports that Saxton and other top staffers discussed planting negative stories about a Portland nonprofit revealed the agency’s sketchy standard of professional behavior. The health authority, which has already given Oregonians plenty of reasons to question its competence, didn’t need doubts about its integrity as well.
