Bridge to Netarts/Oceanside Closures This Week: N. Oregon Coast Traffic Alerts

Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced that OR 131 will be shut down at the bridge across the Tillamook River from July 31 through August 4, only closing in the mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This will impact both normal routes to either Netarts, Bayocean, Cape Meares or Oceanside, as the closure happens just before the beginning of Bayocean Road and Highway 131. The latter is the main route to Netarts or Oceanside, while Bayocean Rd. is the primary way to Bayocean Spit or the town of Cape Meares.
