Misconduct issue unlikely to go away

State Sen. Jeff Kruse has resigned. The special state Senate committee hearing into his conduct, set for Feb. 22, was canceled in the wake of his resignation.

But there is a strong sense that the sexual misconduct issue will continue to be an important one in the state Capitol.
