PGE ratepayer says company should be more transparent as state mulls another rate increase

Ratepayers and one advocate hope the state stops another requested rate increase from Portland General Electric. The utility is asking state regulators to approve another rate increase that could cause residential customers to see a roughly 7% bill increase starting next January. It comes on the heels of an 18% increase, on average, for residential customers last January.
