Salem water crisis: Health risks of algal toxins not fully known

Nearly four weeks after the first health advisory was placed on Salem’s drinking water, state and local health officials have not found a single case of illness caused by the algal toxins.

But it’s also impossible to prove there hasn’t been a case.
